Trip to Scotland
I went on a trip to Scotland today with Cheryl, a friend from work. WHAT A GREAT DAY! Apart from the weather!
However, this didn’t spoil the fun at all. We took my friend’s two dogs, Poppy and Meg. They were great! Just sat in the back of the car and slept a bit, until the back windscreen wiper went on and Poppy started chasing it. Haha!
So this is how the trip went. We started off at Cramlington, then headed straight up to Eyemouth (where the seals deserted us!!), and on to St. Abbs (where Cheryl likes to look at the divers getting changed!!). Then to Coldstream and to Kelso, where I photographed Cheryl’s girls (the dogs) and the salmon were jumping out of the water. Floors Castle is there too. We then went onto Jedburgh (where we went round the roundabout twice or thrice!!), then on to Carter Bar where I took a photograph from the viewpoint just before the clouds came in.
On the way back we went through Otterburn, and we kinda went over the border to Scotland when we were in Eyemouth because we passed through Berwick. St. Abbs is in Scotland too, as are Coldstream, Kelso and Jedburgh. Last stop was Carter Bar, which is right on the border between Scotland and England. Not that we could remember in which country we were in because we couldn’t wait to get back in the car, since we’d turned blue at that point!!
Here are some pictures I took:

It was a great day!
Looks like an awesome trip. Hope I get to see that area someday.
It would have been great if the weather was a bit nicer! Would have had loads more pics! We plan to go back in the summer though!
