About Jamie Peterson

Jamie PetersonHi! This blog gives you a glimpse of my world. I’m 17 and I live in NE England, in a place called Boldon, near South Shields. It used to be a mining district, but the colliery has long gone, replaced by new houses and parkland. Here and there you can still see pit head buildings, preserved as part of the area’s industrial archaeology. One of Boldon’s present-day claims to fame is the local Asda hypermarket, owned by Walmart and the largest superstore in Europe in terms of its floorspace. No one leaves there empty-handed!

I am currently self employed. You can read more about my companies at www.jpeterson.co. I previously worked as a Marketing Assistant for an assessment centre and training provider specialising in Health and Social Care, Customer Service, Leadership and Management. Away from work, I have lots of interests, as you can see from these blog pages. Photography is important in my life, as is music (classical piano). One of my pastimes is convincing music store salesmen that I’m seriously considering buying a £10,000 grand piano: they listen to my playing and think “Sure, this guy rates a Steinway”.

Then there is Swots – the world’s most powerful system for aiding and coordinating revision at school or college. It’s due to launch later this year, so now is the time for you to invest in it and get a slice of its success. After all, look what has happened to Apple!

I enjoy travelling to new places, eating good food and sharing the company of friendly people, whether at home, on the web or on Facebook. All this keeps me pretty busy. You’ll never hear me say “I’m bored”. Well, yes, you will – but that’s only when I get bored. Wander through the pages here and let me know what you think.

Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Jamie
